My Morning Jacket continued their destination concert event, One Big Holiday, at Moon Palace in Cancún, Mexico. The show featured sit-ins by festival performers Brittany Howard, Dave Simonett and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Thursday’s concert kicked off with “Lucky to Be Alive” off the band’s 2021 self-titled album. They continued with “Touch Me I’m Going to Scream Pt. 1,” “First Light” and “Outta My System” before Dave Simonett of Trampled By Turtles took the stage to join in on “Wonderful (The Way I Feel).”

The 21-song single set performance continued with a segued pairing of “Steam Engine” into a live debut of “I Never Could Get Enough.” Next up, they played the Jim James original “State of the Art (A.E.I.O.U)” and “It Beats 4 U” off My Morning Jacket’s fourth studio album, Z

Before ending the set, the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band joined the band for a take on “Holdin On to Black Metal” and 2003’s “Dancefloors.”

For their encore, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes joined My Morning Jacket and Preservation Hall Jazz Band to cover George Harrison’s “My Sweet Lord,” and Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me.” MMJ closed out the show with a solo performance of “Phone Went West” off 2001’s At Dawn
