Last night, The Allman Betts Band concluded their traveling tribute to Gregg Allman at Las Vegas’ The Theater at Virgin Hotels. The ensemble was joined by Sebastian Bach, Robert Randolph and Jimmy Hall on select tunes.

The evening began with a trio of original tunes off 2020’s Bless Your Heart, including “Magnolia Road,” “King Crawler” and “Southern Rain.” The band performed the Allman Brothers Band classics “Dreams” and “Blue Sky.”

Next, Jimmy Hall sat in with the band for a rendition of his band, Wet Willie’s song “Keep on Smilin’.” Hall stuck around for one more ditty, this time Blind Willie McTell’s “Statesboro Blues.” The Allman Betts Band then performed a cover of Muddy Waters’ “Trouble No More” to end the first set.

Original “Savannah’s Dream” opened the second set, followed by a cover of “No One Left to Run With.” Robert Randolph then joined The Allman Betts Band on stage for “The March.”

The set continued with a cover of Roy Orbison’s “You Got It,” followed by a return to pairing off the 1973 classic Brothers and Sisters, including “Southbound” and “Jessica.” Next, the band played the Allman Brothers Band’s “Please Call Home” before closing out the set with Sebastian Bach sitting in for a cover of Sonny Boy Williamson’s “One Way Out.”

The ensemble returned to the stage for an encore performance of “Pale Horse” before being joined by Sebastian Bach to close out the evening with the Allman Brothers Band hit “Midnight Rider.”

Last month, the Allman Betts Band shared they will go on hiatus for most of the year, releasing a statement on their social media platforms assuring fans, despite the pause, they will return to the road for the 6th annual Allman Family Revival concerts around Thanksgiving 2022.
