Yonder Mountain String Band has announced dates for their upcoming 2022 spring tour. The run of shows will kick off in the band’s home state of Colorado, at Meow Wolf Denver on Feb. 24. 

Founding members, Adam Aijana (guitar), Ben Kaufmann (bass), Dave Johnston (banjo), alongside 2015 addition Allie Kral (fiddle), as well as recent newcomer and multi-instrumentalist Nick Piccininni, will continue the Colorado leg of the tour with a three-night residency at WinterWonderGrass in Steamboat Springs, Colo. before heading south. 

The progressive bluegrass quintet will play four shows in The Sunshine State beginning March 11 in St. Petersburg, Fla. at Jannus Live. The following evening, Yonder Mountain String Band is scheduled to appear at Southland Bluegrass & Wilderness Festival 2022 in Immokalee, Fla. before continuing to the southernmost part of the state, Key West on March 13. 

Next, the band will jump to North Carolina to play the Cat’s Cradle on March 15 before heading back to Florida for Suwannee Spring Reunion 2022, where they’ll be joined by Trampled By Turtles and Greensky Bluegrass. 

The tour will wrap with 3-Texas shows, beginning in Austin on March 24, at Scoot Inn and continuing the following night in Houston when they play the Warehouse Live. The final stop will take place in Dallas on March 26 at The Studio at the Factory.
