Karl Denson has confirmed both his New Year’s plans and a series of winter dates. The Greyboy Allstars saxophonist, who just completed a run of shows with The Rolling Stones, will kick off a run with his Tiny Universe right after he celebrates his 65th birthday on December 27. The Southeast swing will kick off at Charleston, SC’s Pour House on December 29 and make stops at Atlanta’s Terminal West (12/30), Savannah, GA’s Plant Riverside District (12/31) and Asheville, NC’s Salvage Station (1/1). DJ Logic will support on December 30 and January 1.

Then, this winter Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will premiere their “A Diesel Insane: The Music Of David Bowie” at San Francisco’s The Fillmore on January 14 and perform the tribute on select dates. The Mattson 2 will also open a number of shows.
