Preservation Hall Jazz Band were among the guests of honor at Pioneer Works’ recent Fall Benefit in Brooklyn, celebrating the NOLA group’s 60th year and performing alongside the likes of Durand Jones and Big Freedia.
Famous faces in attendance included artist Marina Abramović, actor Alexander Skarsgård, director Darren Aronofsky and more.
Pioneer Works was founded in 2012 with the mission of “building community through the arts and sciences to create an open and inspired world.”
