Matisyahu has announced he’ll be putting on his sixteenth annual Festival of Light tour, with four shows in New York and California. Beginning on the first evening of Hanukah, Nov. 28, the tour will kick off at Brooklyn’s new venue Brooklyn Made. After the Brooklyn shows the event will head towards the west coast for the very first time. The west coast shows will happen in Los Angeles and Monterey, Calif.
The announcement of the tour comes on the heels of “Chameleon” the first release off of Matisyahu’s upcoming self-titled album, which is due to drop on March 4. The Festival of Light concerts have stood as a stalwart for Matisyahu’s career since 2005 and continue to spread the light and tradition of the season through music.
According to a press release the events will feature Matisyahu’s iconic Dreidel Mirror Ball menorah lighting jam to honor the Hanukkah tradition along with guitarist Arron Dugan, bassist Jason Fraticelli, keyboardist Jason Linder and drummer Matt Scarano.
