Today, Matisyahu released “Chameleon,” the lead single off his forthcoming seventh studio album Matisyahu which will drop on March 4. The album will mark the Grammy-nominated American singer, songwriter and rapper’s first album release in five years.
Matisyahu is joined on “Chameleon” by the Columbian-bred, Brooklyn-based electronic pop duo Salt Cathedral (Juliana Ronderos & Nicolas Losada) who also co-wrote and produced the song and upcoming album.
“Chameleon” serves as a first and revealing look into what may be Matisyahu’s most thoughtful and autobiographical album to date. Through the percussive, dancehall-style song, Matisyahu shares a joyful anthem that presents a narrative of both his public-facing and inner transformations.
