Goose were feeling groovy on Oct. 31, channeling Austin Powers characters for a show full of swinging ’60s energy.

The band opened with Quincy Jones’ “Soul Bossa Nova” (known by many as the Austin Powers theme), which they followed up with a debut of Tommy James’ “Draggin’ The Line.”

Other ’60s selections through the evening included “My Generation” by The Who, “I’m A Believer” by The Monkees, “American Woman” by The Guess Who and “Magic Carpet Ride” by Steppenwolf – all of those were debut covers, save for “My Generation.”

Other debuts included Devo’s “Whip It” and Grover Washing Jr/Bill Withers’ “Just The Two of Us,” which even included Dr. Evil’s rap, heard originally in the second Austin Powers film.

Wrote the band afterwards, “Yeahhh babyyy!!! Thank you to everyone for one of the best Halloween nights we’ve ever had! We love you guys, can’t wait to head to Hotlanta and keep this Fall Tour rockin!”
