On Oct. 18, Gov’t Mule bolstered a show at The Belasco in Los Angeles with special guest vocalist Beth Hart.
Hart sang on covers like Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind,” the Allman Brothers’ “Soulshine” and Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.” (Notably, Hart released her own cover of “Soulshine” on her 2007 LP 37 Days.)
Gov’t Mule then closed the show themselves, covering Tom Waits’ “Goin’ Out West.”
“It was such an honor to have @BethHart share the stage with us last night,” the band wrote afterwards via Twitter.
