Shovels & Rope have announced they’ll be reading their highly anticipated new album Manticore on Feb. 18. The songs on the acoustic leaning release were penned before the pandemic but recorded during. The extended time allotted allowed Shovels & Rope to expand not only their sound but also subject matter.

Along with the announcement of the release date of their album Shovels & Rope shared a single titled “Domino.” The track offers a tongue-in-cheek commentary on American society’s perspective on celebrity by shaping a sonic narrative where the late James Dean’s ghost ponders on a society that has so desperately held on to him.

Shovels & Rope also announced a 2022 U.S. and European Tour. Find the dates below.
