Blueberry Hill in St. Louis is a very special place for rock and roll, Chuck Berry performed his final show there in 2014, three years before his death. In fact, he played many shows at the club and restaurant throughout his life and career.

Today, in celebration of what would have been the legend’s upcoming 95th birthday, a new live album titled Live From Blueberry Hill has been announced and is set to release on Dec. 17. In addition to the announcement a cut from the album “Carol/Little Queenie” has been released.

The recordings for the live album took place during performances at Blueberry Hill from July 2005 to January 2006 and features 10 tracks all recorded with Berry’s Blueberry Hill Band. The Blueberry Hill Band was made up of handpicked artists and included Berry’s Son Charles Berry Jr. and daughter Ingrid Berry, drummer Keith Robinson, pianist Robert Lohr and bassist Jimmy Marsala.

Live From Blueberry Hill is the second posthumous release from Berry after 2017’s Oh Yeah! Live in Detroit.
