The Mother Hips have announced they’ll be going on tour in support of their upcoming album Glowing Lantern, which is due to release on Dec. 3. Fresh of the 12th edition of their own festival Hipnic XII in Big Sur, Cali., the legendary Northern California-based band plan to hit the road on Oct. 2 in Chico, Cali.
The band who is also celebrating their 30th anniversary together will headline 13 shows in California, including a three-night holiday run at the Great American Music Hall in San Fransico, and two nights at Harlow’s In Sacramento for New Year’s. The band will also make a few stops out of state; they’ll stop in Utah and Texas for two shows in each state.
