For this week’s edition of All The Years Live, the team at Grateful Dead HQ have dug into their video vault, revisiting the band’s take on “It’s All over Now, Baby Blue” from July 6, 1990 at Cardinal Stadium.

Explains GD legacy manager/archivist David Lemieux, “One of the Grateful Dead’s earliest Bob Dylan covers, going back to a handful of performances in 1966, ‘It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue’ was played primarily as an encore, in particular from 1981 onward. This excellent rendition from the Dead’s Louisville performance on the Summer Tour of 1990 is the final one featuring Brent Mydland.”
