The String Cheese Incident have canceled their Louisville, Ky. and Columbus, Ohio shows after one of their members has tested positive for COVID-19.
“It has been a blast getting back on stage, sharing vibes, and reconnecting with y’all since music has restarted,” reads a message from the group. “Alas, we, like many of you have had our own share of COVID related concerns that we have done our best to manage. Unfortunately, despite all being vaccinated, one of the band members has tested positive for COVID.”
The band was originally set to play 14 shows in 16 days, staring with the aforementioned Louisville run from Aug. 13-14 and a one-off night in Columbus on Aug. 15.
As of now, the tour will begin in Wilmington, NC with a two-night stand on Aug. 17-18.
“Tickets for Louisville and Columbus will automatically be refunded via point of purchase,” the band notes.
