Indie singer-songwriter Liz Cooper has announced she’ll be going on tour for her upcoming album Hot Sass, today July 19. The album was recorded live at Little Jamaica Recordings in Burlington, Vt. and continues the artist’s exploration of independence and creativity.

Looking back on the album, Cooper shared in a press release, “It’s me learning about what kind of woman I am and it’s not pretty all the time…I’m still processing these songs. Still reflecting. And I think that’s the thing—Hot Sass is just a stamp in time of what was happening in my life. I just want to continue making art that displays myself, the moments, and the people around me.”

The tour will coincide with the release date of Hot Sass, which drops on Sept. 3 as the tour begins on Aug. 29 in Lexington, Ky. At select shows, Cooper will be joined by New Madrid and Pearl Charles.

Tickets to select shows will be available this Friday, July 23, at 10 a.m. EST. Get tickets here.
