Eric Krasno played the second show of his 3-night run with his trio E3 at the Blue Note Jazz Bar in New York City last night, June 30, 2021. Krasno was joined not only by his bandmates but by an array of special guests as well.
After Krasno opened with Stevie Wonder’s “Big Brother” and The Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby,” Danny Mayer returned for a stretch and played laid down some silky guitar with E3 on “76” and “Curse Lifter.”
As the night went on, Krasno kept the talented friends coming. Maurice Brown joined for “Leave Me Alone,” Junior Mack grooved on a cover of The Allman Brothers Band “Whipping Post,” Isaiah Skarkey came out for “That’s Alright,” and Mark Whitfield jammed over “All About My Girl.”
Krasno and E3 will be performing their last set at the Blue Note tonight.
