Dr. Dog are retiring from the road.

“Today we’re sharing two wildly dissimilar bits of information with everyone,” the band wrote on June 7 via social media. “Firstly, we are touring in the fall! Lastly, we are done touring after that. Done touring for good! It is a disturbing thing to read, I’m sure, and trust me, an equally unsettling thing to write, but it’s all good.”

The band is quick to note that “this is not a break up or anything like that,” and assure fans that this last outing “is going to rule.”

The outing will kick off in late August at LOCKN’ Farm and close with a four-night New Year’s run in Philadelphia.

Get your hands on Dr. Dog tickets starting Friday, June 11 at 12 Noon local time.

The band will also run a pre-sale on their website on Tuesday, June 8 with the password DRDOGLIVE.
