Last night in Pontiac, MI, Umphrey’s McGee closed out their two night run at the Crofoot Festival Grounds.  While the weather for Friday’s show was rainy and in the 40s, last night was drier and a bit more temperate. These pod shows marked the band’s final gigs until the band takes the stage for three nights at Red Rocks on June 18-20.

As reported on Friday, UM will release a new record on July 16.  You Walked Up Shaking In Your Boots But You Stood Tall And Left A Raging Bull collects music that was used as a pre-recorded introduction when Umphrey’s took the stage at live shows. The band performed first single from the record, “Leave Me Las Vegas” to open the second set on Saturday, marking its first appearance since 7/5/13. The band also debuted a version of Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re An American Band” during the encore, which led into “Pay the Snucka.” Other highlights including the show’s opening run from “Slacker” into “1348” and the three song  sequence that closed the first set that featured “Prowler,” “Whistle Kids” and  “Andy’s Last Beer.”
