Conscious Alliance – the musically-minded non-profit known for their efforts to combat hunger in the U.S. – has announced a new 10,593 square foot distribution center in Colorado.
In 2020, the organization distributed 2.6 million meals to those in need, and officials hope that this new center will increase those efforts in 2021.
The new center includes “two warehouses, staff offices, rooms to host events as well as 1.4 acres on which to plant gardens and host outdoor community events. Conscious Alliance plans to host large-scale volunteer events, benefits, networking opportunities, and much more.”
As noted by Justin Levy, executive director of Conscious Alliance, “There is enough food in our country for everyone. It simply needs to be distributed at the right place and the right time. Our new national distribution center is a place where we can not only dream bigger, but do more, a place where we can bring together everyone and everything we do under one big, conscious roof to ensure that children and families are fed.”
