The Peach Music Festival has announced that it plans to go ahead with its 2021 plans to host the event on July 4th weekend, 2021. The festival will occur at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pa. The announcement did not include information on what the festival would look like in terms of COVID guidelines or other social distancing measures. According to the New York Times, Pennsylvania is set to be fully opened by May 31.

The festival shared a graphic to their social media page reading “The Peach: Coming Soon to a Mountain Near You.” In the post, they noted that the event would occur at the Montage Mountain site. The post also only stated that it would occur “July 4 weekend 2021;” meanwhile, the festival’s website reads that it will occur July 1-4.

The 2020 iteration of The Peach was set to feature headliners Oysterhead, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and The String Cheese Incident, as well as Umphrey’s McGee, moe., Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Oteil Burbridge & Friends, Turkuaz’s Remain In Light project with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew and many more. The festival did not announce a lineup for 2021.
