On April 9, Spafford gathered for an improv-led livestream, chronicling 80 minutes of spontaneous music creation.
“It felt so good to stretch our jam-legs out a bit last night! Really, really good,” the band wrote on Sunday. “We jammed for about 80 minutes and then Jordan kicked off another 30 minute exploration. We’re calling it ‘The Big Field Sessions’ and it’s now available to stream and download for FREE! Tell a friend.”
If you’d like to enjoy Spafford IRL, the band is set to play two socially distant pod shows at the Marquee Theatre Backyard in Tempe, Ariz. on April 20 and 21.

April 11, 2021 at 11:37 pmCovid is bad but that doesn’t give every tier 4 band the right to drop garbage on the community…I sampled parts of the session & it simply confirms that it’s easy these days to record & publish material.
