The Great South Bay Music Festival will once again be postponed a year. Originally scheduled for July 15-18, 2021, Long Island’s longest running music and arts festival is now being pushed to July 7 through 10 in 2022, due to uncertainties regarding COVID-19. Ticket refunds will be offered, along with more information to come.

I find it hard to fathom that I must again announce that The Great South Bay Music Festival has been rescheduled,” said festival producer Jim Faith in a statement. The disappointment that we feel, first losing the 2020 and now the 2021 festival to this pandemic is maddening, but the health and safety of our attendees, artists, fest workers and community is our top priority.  The very last thing we want to do is push forward based on impatience or greed.”

While it is unfortunate that festivities must be canceled this year, GSB did announce some good news: headliners The Tedeschi Trucks Band have re-signed to perform on July 10, 2022, and have added the Los Lobos to support. In addition, moe. announced on their Facebook that they would be performing at the festival. Festival producers are expected to re-confirm the rest of the 2021 headliners promptly.
