Backline, a nonprofit organization aimed at improving mental health and wellness in the music industry, has announced their first ever livestream fundraiser, ‘Set Break.’ The stream will air at 4 p.m. ET on Apr. 10 exclusively on the The Relix Channel on Twitch.

The virtual fundraiser boasts a stacked lineup including: Alanis Morisette, Bob Weir & Wolf Bros, Dawes, Leon Bridges, Black Pumas, Sara Bareilles, Ben Folds, Oteil Burbridge, Los Lobos, Michael Franti, K. Flay, Galactic, American Authors, Larking Poe, Deer Tick, Nicki Bluhm & Nicole Atkins, Tim Reynolds and more.

In addition to the music, the event will also feature conversations with The Black Mental Health Alliance and the Tour Research Health Initiative. There will also be wellness experiences courtesy of Wanderlust, Breathwrk, The Big Quiet and Meditation Studio by Muse.

“Set Break will demonstrate the music industry’s resilience, more than a year after the
pandemic devastated our livelihoods,” Backline’s Executive Director Hilary Gleason said in a statement. “Backline has provided a safe place to land for industry workers during this time, and the event will bring together fans, artists, and organizations who all believe in the cause and want to create a safer and more supported environment for music to thrive.”

“It’s truly awesome to see artists from all corners of the musical landscape come together to
speak to such an important cause for our community,” added Joshua Knight, Backline’s Chairman of the Board.
