Jamband Workout is launching its YouTube channel on March 22, which will feature the premiere of their new exercise and fitness program. The launch will include a ten-day workout challenge as well.

In 2014, Phish fan Mike Allen realized that the only exercise he had gotten in the past 20 years was at concerts dancing around. This was the same year he discovered Archive.org and the expansive database of live jamband recordings.

Fast forward 6 years and Allen finally tried a Jamband Workout. At the start of the pandemic, he knew he needed to get exercise.

“I started putting on shows on my TV in the living room and dancing along as if I were there. As a joke for some friends, I recorded the embarrassing routine and sent it to them,” said Allen in a statement. His friends convinced him to start an Instagram account for his videos. He now has thousands of avid and loyal fans.

Jamband Workout has posted a video every single day for a year on its Instagram page, and Allen’s hard work paid off. He has now lost over 50 pounds from combining his Jamband Workout with an adjusted diet. On his new YouTube channel, Allen narrates you through famous songs from bands like Phish, the Dead, or The Disco Biscuits.

The new YouTube page launches March 22.
