The Northwest String Summit has postponed its dates to July 21-24, 2022, citing concerns of COVID safety. Back in May, the festival pushed its 2020 dates to July 22-25, 2021. These have been moved back once again. It will take place at Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Ore.

“In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with the uncertainties surrounding the vaccination rollout and Oregon’s timeline for allowing mass gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to further postpone the Northwest String Summit and reschedule the 20th Anniversary for July 21-24, 2022,” said the festival in a statement.

The organizers also announced that “all tickets of all types purchased online through EventBrite will be refunded in full.” Meanwhile, those with hard tickets can request a refund or keep their ticket for NWSS 2022.

The festival also noted that they are working on events for Summer 2021 at Horning’s Hideout.
