Primus offered a special pay-per-view broadcast this past Friday, and the power trio was sure to treat concert-starved fans to a number of bustouts and debuts.
A massive “Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers”> “Lacquer Head”> “Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers Reprise” segment started the show with a bang, marking the band’s first “Lacquer Head” since 2000.
Similarly, the track “Antipop” – which was the rollicking title track of the band’s Fred Durst-produced, 1999 LP for Interscope – made a rare appearance mid-way through the set as well, last played two decades ago.
In time, the Antipop cuts kept coming, as the band offered the live debut of “Eclectic Electric” mid-way through the performance as well.
The single set show closed with “Southbound Pachyderm” from which the event ‘Alive From Pachyderm Station’ bore its name.

December 16, 2020 at 10:02 pmTruly amazing how talented the band really is. The timing alone . Unreal. Les of course is a bass phenomenon.

December 14, 2020 at 8:06 pmI always wondered why they never did anti-pop songs. Figured it had to do with Brain or Les’s distaste for the album. Agreed best set list although I like when they close with something with more punch.
