For the final night of his eight week, Friday night residency – known as ‘The Beacon Jams’ – Trey Anastasio was sure to offer some surprises, following up a new original (dubbed “Just A Touch”) with the full T.A.B. debut of the ferocious Phish original “Carini.”

As some setlist statisticians may note, Anastasio has performed “Carini” outside of Phish number of times, beginning with a solo acoustic version on 2/20/11. As previously said, though, this performance marks the first time the tune was amplified by T.A.B.’s signature horns and double percussion.
