Legendary New Orleans venue Tipitina’s has announced the Tipitina’s Record Club. The program, featuring records curated by Tip’s, will include six records sent out bi-monthy.
According to a press release: “Curated by musicians, you can expect some gems from the vaults, never before heard rarities, out of print reissues, and new recordings – specializing in the music and culture of New Orleans and the Gulf South.
“Each release will be on 180g, custom-colored vinyl. These limited edition pieces of art will be exclusive to Tipitina’s Record Club Members,” continued the release.
Fans can purchase an annual subscription or go month-by-month. The current Record Club release is Professor Longhair’s Fess At Home ’73. That title will begin shipping in February of 2021.
