For this week’s edition of the archival ‘All The Years Live’ video series, Grateful Dead HQ is looking back on Summer Tour ’89 with a July 12 performance of “Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo.”
This “Mississippi Half-Step” comes from a stop in Washington DC, as GD legacy manager/archivist David Lemieux explains, “Usually a show-opener in its last 20 years in the setlist, this version from RFK 1989 was played as the third song of the first set, always fun to see the Dead mix things up from the usual setlist format.”
