New York City’s Blue Note jazz club has announced that it will reopen restaurant operations for the holiday season. The first date that reservations will be available is Nov. 27; patrons can reserve spots for select dinner shows at 6 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET and select weekends for brunch at 11 a.m. ET and 1 p.m. ET.
Along with dining, “incidental” live music will occur at the venue. Performers will include: Eddie Palmieri, Bill Charlap, Maurice “Mobetta” Brown, Keyon Harrold, Marcus Strickland, Theo Croker, Wayne Escoffrey, Jeremy Pelt, Michael King, Shekwage Ode, Eric Wheeler, Peter Washington, Kenny Washington, James Burton, Victor Gould, Rashaan Carter, and Mark Whitfield Jr., with more to be announced.
According to the venue’s announcement, “seating will be limited to 25% capacity and approved COVID-safe procedures will be implemented per the guidelines set forth by the City of New York, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and New York State Department of Health.”
“I am very happy to announce that the Blue Note will reopen for dining this holiday season,” said Steven Bensusan, President of Blue Note Entertainment Group (via press release). “The safety of our guests is our highest priority and our staff is working around the clock to ensure our guests have a comfortable dining experience.”
