Tonight, Nov. 12, at 10 p.m ET/7 p.m. PT, tabla player Zakir Hussain will perform a livestreamed show from the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco, Calif.

Hussain will perform solo for a portion of the show, while at other times he will be joined by virtual guests Mickey Hart and bansuri flautist Rakesh Churasia.

After the show airs live this evening (Nov. 12), there will be an encore showing on Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. PT, during which Hussain will participate in a real-time chat, providing commentary on the performance.

According to a press release, “the performance will then be made available On-Demand from November 15, 2020 to Thursday, December 31, 2020. During the entire broadcast window, a Tip Jar is available for viewers with a portion of proceeds going directly to Zakir Hussain.”
