On Nov. 3, Dave Matthews shared an intimate cover of Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth” to Dave Matthews Band social media pages. The DMB frontman accompanied his vocals with subtle piano, as well as some scat singing to fill out the personal performance.
“Stay safe y’all. Look after each other [and] care about each other,” Matthews said upon concluding the performance.
Buffalo Springfield released “For What It’s Worth” in 1966 is a single. The song was written by Stephen Stills. While this is a debut for Matthews himself, DMB has previously worked the song into performances of “Jimi Thing,” including the version featuring Warren Haynes at 2003’s Central Park concert. Watch a video of that below.

November 4, 2020 at 4:58 pmWhen did Trump haters invade the Relix site? Like your Fearless Leader you are a loser. You will slink off to the rock u live under. Are u gonna ask the Supreme Court to ban Dave Matthews from the internet? You’d be more comfortable on the Ted Nugent site. Sounds like u have Cat Scratch Fever.
