Drummer Nikki Glaspie of The Nth Power has put together a new project, called KAMANI. The band consists of Glaspie, keyboardist Nigel Hall (currently playing with Lettuce), guitarist Kat Dyson (Prince) and bassist Matt Lapham (Roosevelt Collier Trio).

Along with the project’s announcement, they unveiled a series of socially-distanced tour dates. The group will kick off a six show run in November at the Charleston Pour House in Charleston, S.C. on Nov. 10. They’ll then play five straight shows in a row in Florida from Nov. 11 through Nov. 15 at venues such as The New Standard in Winter Park, The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton and the Dunedin Brewery in Dunedin.
