Goose have announced their first drive-in show, which will take place on Sept. 12 at the Yarmouth Drive-In in Cape Cod, Mass. The band has not played to a live audience since early March.

“We are stoked to return to the stage Saturday, September 12 at the Yarmouth Drive-in for a very special live performance,” wrote the band in an announcement post (see below). “Each car will purchase one ticket, good for a maximum of 4 people per vehicle. Strict safety protocols will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for all. Let’s roll.”

“It’s been almost 5 months since we played for an audience, so we are beyond stoked to hang with our fans!” said guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Peter Anspach (via press release). “I recently attended a show at Yarmouth and was blown away by the care and safety awareness demonstrated by the staff. We wanted to make sure the experience would be comfortable and fun for all our fans. Unlike most traditional concerts, there is no PA system. At a drive-in show, the sound is entirely generated by fans via FM car radio.

“I was skeptical about this at first, but once the show began, it was magical,” Anspach continued. “We encourage everyone to bring additional speakers and/or headphones that can connect to FM radio in order to maximize the sound experience. Don’t worry, after blasting our car radio for 2+ hours, the car battery was still cooking!”

Pre-sale tickets for the show are available now, and general on-sale will occur on Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. ET. To purchase tickets and for more information, click here.
