moe. has announced that they have been forced to cancel their Miracle Mile shows in Vernon Downs in Vernon, N.Y., set for this coming Friday and Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1. The band shared the news via social media post.
“Today Vernon Downs has decided to no longer host our Miracle Mile event,” the band wrote in the post. “Due to the short notice we have been forced to cancel our shows on Friday and Saturday. Refunds will be automatically issued by Ticketmaster to all original ticket purchasers.”
“We are heartbroken and cannot convey how saddened we are for the inconveniences this has caused our fans. We wish for nothing more than to play live for you,” they continued.
In lieu of the canceled shows, the band has announced two webcasted full-band shows, which will occur at 7 p.m. ET on the days of the Miracle Mile event.
“While can no longer play for you in a live concert setting, we will still perform for you live via webcast. We have been rehearsing in an historic church-turned-recording studio and will broadcast two full moe. shows from this setting, starting at 7pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. We hope you can join us virtually,” the band wrote.

1) I can’t believe someone is sorry for the people who flew to see the concert. I’m sorry they were foolish enough to think that flying for a concert was a good idea right now. We have things under control in CNY. We don’t want visitors messing that up from who knows where. Mind you there are 30 something states where currently it would be illegal for them to travel here for a concert without it being a 2 week trip.
2) This is not something to blame Cuomo for. Like his policies or not on a litany of topics, he has led NYS throughout the pandemic. This wasn’t a fun decision for him to make to impose greater restrictions on drive in concerts. I’m glad they cancelled because no way did I want to sit in a car the entire time without being able to have a beer. That’s right, the new guidelines after the Chainsmokers debacle is you cannot leave the vehicle unless it’s to use the restroom and no open containers in the vehicle. Clearly, people are not responsible enough and the Chainsmokers attendees ruined it for the rest of us. This isn’t on Cuomo.
