On June 20, Dave Matthews was among a number of guests on the ‘Round Midnight Preserves livestream, hosted by Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s Ben Jaffe and directed by Danny Clinch.
During the performance, Matthews virtually jammed his Come Tomorrow track “That Girl Is You” alongside the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
“Much love and thanks to y’all in Preservation Hall, and to all of New Orleans thank you so much,” Matthews says at the end of the song.
The ‘Round Midnight Preserves livestream raised money for the Preservation Hall Foundation, which “protects, preserves, and perpetuates the musical traditions and heritage of New Orleans through its four program areas: Education, Community Engagement, Legacy and Archives.”
