Tenderfoot TV has announced that it will produce a new podcast called Dead and Gone, which will examine the murder and disappearance of a number of Grateful Dead fans.
The podcast will be hosted by Jake Brennan, who currently hosts Disgraceland, and Payne Lindsey, who co-founded Tenderfood TV. According to Deadline, Dead and Gone “will look at how, over the past five decades, a number of Dead Heads are missing, unidentified or dead. One fan died in a car accident, one was murdered and dumped in a ditch, while many others are missing.”
There is no word yet on when the podcast will air.

June 30, 2020 at 10:09 pmI’d rather Sunshine Daydream.
This might make me miss VH1, Bret Michaels, and Dee Snider. Watching Gene Simmons would even be better.
Stay Grateful. ❤️⚡️💙

June 30, 2020 at 7:31 pmThis has the makings of sensationalized, made for TV, hyped to the max, cult of the dead fans that vanish into the netherworld. I’m certain it will solve nothing and only give dead heads a bad rap, some deservedly, most not.

July 1, 2020 at 10:33 amNailed it Howard. Take any large group with like minded interests and they’ll be many deaths and disappearances. Once read that they’ve been 7 murders on the 2000 mile Appalachian Trail in its 70+ years. Draw a 2000 mile line anywhere across America and you’ll hit far more than 7 murders…

June 30, 2020 at 2:28 pmI think that’s interesting. I remember the story of that teacher killed when she was driving cross country. She ended up on the cover of the Pharmers Almanac as a tribute (the girl dancing with the ticket in her hand) and Bobby was on some TV show talking about her. Was around 2000. I forget her name. I think she was from Jersey.
