STS9 will provide some music and thoughts during SpaceX’s Demo-2 launch. The broadcast begins today at 3 p.m. ET, and the launch itself will occur around 4:30 p.m. ET.

STS9 will be alongside a variety of artists, including The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, My Morning Jacket’s Patrick Hallahan and many more.

“We’re honored to participate in today’s historic Demo-2 launch! It’s the first time SpaceX is sending NASA astronauts to space,” the band wrote in a post on social media. “We’re providing some music and thoughts for the occasion”

“Stay tuned after the launch for a flashback STS9 performance!” they continued.
