In a new video, Roger Waters has enlisted his touring band – who were slated to be on the road this year for his “This is Not A Drill Tour” – to perform a special version of the Pink Floyd classic “Mother.”
“Social distancing is a necessary evil in Covid world. Watching ‘Mother’ reminds me just how irreplaceable the joy of being in a band is,” Waters wrote alongside the clip.
Waters also recently performed John Prine’s “Paradise” from the confines of quarantine, as a tribute to the late songwriting legend, who was also a close friend.
