From Feb. 21-23, WinterWonderGrass celebrated its eighth year in Steamboat Springs, Colo.

After performances by Greensky Bluegrass, Keller & The Keels, The Travelin’ McCourys and more, Margo Price closed out the main stage on Sunday evening by debuting a new original – “Twinkle Twinkle” – and even welcoming Billy Strings to the stage for a special cover.

Strings – who played a set of his own earlier that evening – plugged in his Fender Telecaster for a version of Janis Joplin’s “Move Over.”

Later, Price sparked up a joint and shared it with the crowd before encoring with Dolly Parton’s “9 To 5.”

Recently, Price stepped back into the spotlight with her first studio single in two years, “Stone Me.”

In other Strings-related news, the musician just scheduled a two-night run at Denver’s Mission Ballroom on Oct. 15 and 16.

The roving cold-weather event will make stops in Squaw Valley, Calif from March 27-29 and Stratton, Vt. on April 10 and 11.
