On Jan. 25, Greg Ormont opened for Twiddle as Scrambled Greg at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. The two artists traded sit-ins, as Twiddle guitarist Mihali Savoulidis joined Ormont on stage during his set. Later, Ormont returned to the stage to sit in with Twiddle, once during the first set and once during the second.
During Ormont’s set, Savoulidis took the stage for a cover of Talking Heads’ “Crosseyed and Painless,” which occurred midway through the set.
Twiddle’s show began with “Gatsby The Great.” Towards the end of the first set, the band invited Ormont to the stage for a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Boogie On Reggae Woman.” Twiddle then closed closed the set with “La Bamba.”
The second set began with “Hattie’s Jam.” They then moved into “Slippin in the Kitchen,” then into “Syncopated Healing.” Next, they delivered a “Jamflowman” sandwhich with “Nicodemos Portulay” as the meat. Later in the set, the band brought Ormont back to the stag for a cover of “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).” “Lost In The Cold” close the set, and “Juggernaut” served as the encore.

January 28, 2020 at 6:31 pmThese bands…are no good. They are privileged scrubs…who love the management cramming their music down humans throats. Zero originality,…and a scene…of marketing…over the top praise for soulless music…and weak ass chops. End of comment
