Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival has announced Jerry Douglas as its 2020 Artist in Residence. The festival will take place on the Walsh Farm in Oak Hill, N.Y. from July 15-19, 2020. Douglas will be playing with an all-star ensemble and will also sit in with several other talented artists throughout the festival.

Douglas, the Grammy, CMA, and IBMA award winning Dobro player, band leader, composer, and music producer has released 14 solo recordings and has played on more than 1,500 albums.

According to a recent press release, “Jerry Douglas is to the resonator guitar what Jimi Hendrix was to the electric guitar—elevating, transforming, and reinventing the instrument in countless ways.”

Tickets to the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival go on sale Saturday, Jan. 5 at 12:00 PM and the full lineup will be announced on Feb. 14, 2020. For tickets and more information, click here.
