On Dec. 21, Goose hosted their sixth annual “Goosemas” celebration at the Wall Street Theatre in Norwalk, Conn. The show was highlighted by covers of Christmas classics and debuts of new original songs. The band also conducted a canned-food drive that collected over 300 pounds of food for Open Doors, a Norwalk-based homeless shelter and food pantry.

The first set – dubbed “The Ghost of Goosemas Past” – began with a cover of “Christmas Must Be,” followed by the fan-favorite original “Tumble.” The band also played beloved originals “All I Need” and “Yeti.” The set also included Christmas classics “Carol Of The Bells” (in the style of The Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and “Linus and Lucy” (composed by Vince Guaraldi).

The second frame – called “The Ghost of Goosemas Future” – both began and ended with “Wysteria Lane.” In between the “Wysteria” sandwich, the band debuted two new original songs, “Arrow” and “Honeybee,” which fit with the theme of Goosemas future.

This show, which packed over 1,000 fans into the theatre, was Goose’s largest headlining show to date. The band will now have some time off before returning to the stage at Dead & Company’s ‘Playing in the Sand’ destination event. Later in 2020, the band will embark on an extensive tour that includes a series of west coast dates with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.
