For their sixth annual homecoming holiday show, Goose will hold a food drive to benefit Open Doors, which aides Norwalk, Conn.’s homeless population.

Explains Goose guitarist/keyboardist Peter Anspach, ““We wanted to do something for a local organization and felt this was the best way for us and our fan base to contribute to our local community.”

“During this season of giving, Open Doors is truly grateful to the members of Goose for thinking of all those in need in their hometown and to everyone who’s coming together to have fun and make a difference at Goosemas,” added Open Doors Executive Director Michelle Conderino.

According to the band, in addition to bringing food items to benefit Open Door, fans can purchase raffle tickets with all proceeds going to the organization. Those who can not attend can make donations online.

Goosemas well be held on Dec. 21 at the Wall Street Theatre in Norwalk, CT. It is sold-out, but you can find additional Goose tour dates at their official website.
