Alanic Morissette will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her smash-hit debut Jagged Little Pill with a coast-to-coast U.S. tour this summer, recreating the LP’s hits like “Ironic,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “You Learn” and more.
Kicking off in Portland, Ore. the 31-show outing will take Morissette – as well as fellow ’90s royalty Garbage and Liz Phair – to mostly outdoor amphitheaters like Coral Sky in Florida (June 18), the Jones Beach Theater on Long Island (June 26) and Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland (July 2). The tour will close with fanfare on July 25 at Nashvhille’s Bridgestone Arena.
And while Morissette is happy to revisit Jagged Little Pill she’s also keeping her songwriting skills nimble with a new single, dubbed “Reasons I Drink,” and an ensuing album in the coming year.
