Spafford let the music do the talking for their Oct. 15 performance in Bloomington, Ind.
In the midst of their fall tour, the Arizona-based quartet jammed straight through the first and second set, each clocking-in around 75 minutes. Later, the band named their first half the “Bluebird Jam” after the venue and their second the “Bloomington Jam” after their host city.
To encore, Spafford decided to play one formal composition, Alex Clare’s “Too Close” which was last played in February 2019 in Washington DC.
Wrote the band afterwards, “Thanks for jammin’ with us, Bloomington!”

So many questions
October 17, 2019 at 12:20 amGreat, I’m interested…but how was the jam? Did they have themes? Sound like other songs? We’re they fast, slow, chill, wavy? Were they different between set to set or similar? How big was the audience. I’m interested now In going to the LA show but I am curious about the jams and music being made. Thanks, ron
