After SiriusXM announced that its Jam On channel would be permanently replaced with Phish Radio, fans expressed their disappointment that the former channel would only be available online and via the SiriusXM app, even circulating a petition to bring Jam On back to car radios, and now the radio service has complied, bringing back the jam-centric channel.
Jam On is now available in “select cars” via channel 309. “Select” refers to cars that are equipped with higher-number SiriusXM channels, which generally means newer models of car or SiriusXM hardware.

July 29, 2019 at 12:55 pmBeen listening as often as I can on app. So far haven’t heard a dj voice. No steph, ari johnathon, weekly live stash, ect. I keep hearing the same songs.I’m thinking they’ve ruined it for good. A real shame!!

July 26, 2019 at 1:22 pmMy 2014 Tacoma does not get 309.. Only goes to 270 or so.. Bring back Jam On to channel 29! If it were not for Jam On I would have dumped Sirius after the free trial!! This was a bad business decision and it sucks!!!

July 23, 2019 at 10:45 amJust bought a 2019 Ford with 9 miles on it, how is that for low miles! No 309, no channels above 186. Likely not included in the 6 month introductory package. This sucks.

July 22, 2019 at 4:10 pmTwo things:
1. Move Phish radio to 309. Bring back Jam On to channel 29.
2. Bring back JAM ON to channel 29 and play more variety with those artists, not the same songs over and over.
3. Bring back Jam On to channel 29 and move Phish to 309.

July 21, 2019 at 8:58 pmPut Jam On back on channel 29 and Phish Radio on 309!!

July 21, 2019 at 3:14 pmMy only reason for subscribing had been Jam On. Channel 309?
Have owned many cars with satellite radio. None had a 309. Probably won’t renew.

July 21, 2019 at 9:17 amThis sucks. I can’t get it in my car (2014 Lexus)….It doesn’t work on my alexa devices. I don’t want a 24 x 7 Phish channel. Thinking of canceling.
Terrence mack
July 21, 2019 at 8:13 amI paid for the lifetime subscription based on jam on and the blues channel. They have destroyed both channels. Don’t even listen to the satellite anymore.

July 20, 2019 at 8:44 amGreat that jam on has returned, unfortunately no one that I know has the ability to get 309. Thanks for nothing.

July 19, 2019 at 2:31 pmOh great because everyone was missing widespread panic, string cheese incident, dave matthews & all the other lame music on jam_on

July 19, 2019 at 12:23 amLolz at all of you worked up over a Sirius station that played the same 40 songs over and over again. How many times can you hear the revivalists cover Ophelia?

July 18, 2019 at 10:04 pmJust started a new petition to return Jam On to a station that we can all receive that is not dependent on the newest equipment.
https://www.change.org/p/jam-on-listeners-return-jam-on-to-sirius-xm-29?recruiter=985470029&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=share_petition&utm_term=share_petition

July 18, 2019 at 9:41 pmWe need a new petition to place Jam On back on 29. It is BS to take it away then give it back only to folks with the newest radio. Is Apple behind this? Seriously I want going to see about a new petition on change.org..

July 18, 2019 at 9:05 pm1974 Studebaker Avanti II here. Only goes up to channel 101 on my deluxe Pioneer car receiver I added to my Stude in 2003 (big expense for a poor man like me). Don’t hate because I can only afford to smoke ‘brown frown’…
Please drop the Phish and replace with 24/7 Captain and Tennille tunes on channel 29. Then replace the ear vomiting DMB channel with Jam On. One love!

July 18, 2019 at 8:04 pm2019 Ford Expedition Platinum.
Sirius unit in it tops out at 225.
Called Sirius and cancelled service.
Holy smokes, those stories online aren’t kidding. Craziest, worst, most annoying cancelation process ever. But if you stick it out and keep telling the idiots “Sirius isn’t even worth the $1/month you are now offering if JamOn isn’t on a reachable channel.”
Stick to it, You can finally get out.
F Sirius. Hello Spotify

July 18, 2019 at 4:39 pmI don’t receive it either but I’ve got a 2012 Chrysler. I actually enjoy Phish radio but I like Jam better and would enjoy Gov’t Mule most.

July 18, 2019 at 4:39 pmIn my opinion the big looser here are the bands that are played on Jam ON, over the the years I have discovered many new bands that you could not hear anywhere else. Since the switch I find myself surfing channels with nothing to listen to. There are many other chanels that could go. There needed to be 2 classic rock channels that play the same songs I hear on FM radio. Bring it back to 29 so we can all get it.

July 18, 2019 at 3:50 pmXM All Access on 2019 Toyota RAV4 does not get Channel 309!
I prepaid a year and have not listened in my car since Jam On moved.
I second the “Dump Pearl Jam Radio”
I will not re-new if I can’t get Jam On in my car….

July 18, 2019 at 3:29 pmSo if i have the external radio and antenna set up in my car (purchased 2 yrs ago) I should be able to get 309 if I have the premium package and get on the app?
Heidi
July 18, 2019 at 3:24 pmI get 309 in my 2019 Subaru
With that said, get rid of Pearl Jam radio, and put Jam On in its spot.
Matt
July 18, 2019 at 3:07 pmI canceled last week and told them I would sign up again when they move it back to the Basic level subscription. I suggest you all do the same and stay strong until they move it back to 29.

July 18, 2019 at 2:59 pmI guess my 2007 Honda Civic doesn’t have a shot. I can listen to Jam On on my Echo. I actually like Phish Radio, especially the Errant Path. But I miss Jamtronica, the live shows and festivals, and the variety of bands. Maybe they could put it on Channel 30 when DMB goes off the air.

July 18, 2019 at 2:36 pmthank goodness my 2018 sentra has it. love the jam on variety instead of just phish all the time. they can get rid of dave matthews channel also.

July 18, 2019 at 2:14 pm2015 Ford Escape only goes to Channel 185. Been a subscriber since 2008.
Very annoying. How much to Phish have to pay them to have their own marketing channel?

July 18, 2019 at 2:02 pm2019 Chevy Traverse. Only goes up to 235

July 18, 2019 at 1:59 pmI haven’t been a subscriber in a long time. The reason was and still is, that I want to be able to subscribe to the regular and the premium music channels only at a decent price. I have no interest in any other channels they offer Except music. But until the offer a music only package, I will not be back. I’ll stick with putting the digital downloads on my phone, and listen to moe. Phish, Grateful Dead, WSP, Colonel Bruce, Blues Traveler, Hot Tuna and more! Best part…. No John Mayer 😂But keep the faith and fight the fight kids. Eventually they might listen.

July 18, 2019 at 1:42 pmOn my late model, low milage, recently vacuumed Mercedes-Benz [the best or nothing] and new CRV w/premium audio…wait. What was the question?

July 18, 2019 at 1:40 pmNot available in 2011 Chevrolet installed XM. One more way to nickel & dime working class people. I guess Sirius XM are only interested in rich customers.

July 18, 2019 at 1:34 pmThis is terrible….why in the world would you replace it with ALL Phish. I have a 2015 Infinity and have had SIRIUS for years.,…I will cancel if I cant get JAM ON…
Jeff
July 18, 2019 at 1:28 pmNot good enough! Too many cars, including my own, don’t pick up this channel! We want Jam On back to the regular channels that everyone can get!

July 18, 2019 at 1:24 pmI cancelled yesterday on a car and an office radio solely due to this move. I kept it in my wife’s auto though so I could hear 316 and 309 on the app whenever I need to. You need one package to have the app included I believe.
Big Red
July 18, 2019 at 1:21 pmSince they dropped jam on and added pandora for a lower fee I called Sirius yesterday about subscription for both car and online. Got it reduced wildly. Still salty about having to use the app for Jam on, but the lower price for combined app and car makes it less of an issue.

July 18, 2019 at 1:19 pmDoes not work in 2016 Acura MDX. XM model receiver only goes up to 225.
Must be only available in Sirius model receivers.
Same thing applies with Stern — not avail on XM models.

July 18, 2019 at 1:11 pmI’ve been a subscriber since 2007. When they originally rolled out the web service it was part of your monthly subscription – now its an extra fee. This is just a way to push people to buy hardware and spend more money. I’m about done. They have cancelled every station I enjoy. Two thumbs down.
Wendy
July 18, 2019 at 1:11 pmDoesn’t work on either 2012 Lexus or the 2016 Lexus. Sirius you need to bring it down the number line! Under 200 should work in most cars. And Phish radio sucks.

July 18, 2019 at 1:25 pmI deleted 29 off my favorites.

July 18, 2019 at 1:43 pmChannel 29 was my FAVORITE channel. Since the change I haven’t gone to it even once! And I’ve since found out that my car where I do a lot of my listening does not get channel 309. For a second I got all excited for nothing! Thanks for NOTHING!!
Nick Hegedus
July 18, 2019 at 1:05 pmThey should put Phish on channel 309 & put Jam On back on 29 where it belongs. Haven’t checked yet but if I do not get 309 on my 2014 Ford Fusion I still plan on not renewing subscriptions.

July 18, 2019 at 1:27 pmabsolutely agreed…needs of the many!!!

July 18, 2019 at 1:43 pmAgree completely about putting it back and changing Phish radio. Havent checked my 2014 Camry yet but will alsoconsuder not renewing.

July 20, 2019 at 9:27 amYep. Put phuking phish on 309. Canceling my 3 subscriptions. Bluetoothing the Relisten app

July 18, 2019 at 11:33 amThank god! Wish they’d put it back on 29 but still I’m super happy because the Phish radio sucks…more than half the times I flip to it they’re playing a lousy Phish song.

July 18, 2019 at 8:16 am2011 Ford Ranger and 2016 Subaru both get it. Been listening to it a long time, why would they change what I thought was a popular thing astounds me.

July 17, 2019 at 9:26 pmMy car is brand new and I found it today. 316 is a cool channel too. All live music.

July 17, 2019 at 6:36 pm309 is just number but if you align the alphabet with 1 is A and 2 is B 309 is the sum of: Phish Radio =309

July 17, 2019 at 6:34 pmUseless for my 2 x 2011 low mileage, high end playing around cars. Ironically both recently expired and I’m not renewing.

July 18, 2019 at 1:21 pmThanks for letting us know you have two low mileage cars. Very relevant.

July 17, 2019 at 5:36 pm309 is a fake channel, it’s not available on many cars even modern ones.
RunawayJim145
July 17, 2019 at 6:12 pmFake is a strong word. In listening to it now in my 2016 Honda Accord which isn’t that “modern”. Just because you can’t get it, doesn’t make it fake. Sorry your not able to enjoy.
Drew
July 17, 2019 at 7:13 pmYou are the first person I’ve heard report having it.

July 18, 2019 at 7:24 amI drove to work this morning listening with no issues (2018 Jeep). Although it does NOT work in my 2014 F150.

July 18, 2019 at 11:32 amWrong. I have a 2019 Mazda with the xm package, it only goes up to # 225. I called xm ,they said Jam On is not available on any auto xm or Sirius unit. Available only through the phone app. Mmm I’m thinking they will shortly start some new program. For a monthly fee they will add the Jam On channel to your account. This is a test ….other popular channels will soon follow ,,,
Thanks marketing NOT

July 20, 2019 at 10:04 pmTotal bullshit. A 2019 expedition can not get it.
