Marking his first solo project since soundtracking the 2018 remake of the Dario Argento horror classic Suspiria, Thom Yorke is dipping back into a more traditional studio realm with ANIMA.
The album will see its digital release on June 27, followed by a physical release on July 19, and features a number of cuts that have been previously performed by Yorke live on his Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes tour.
According to a press release, “The album’s digital release will be accompanied by a ‘one-reeler,’ also entitled ANIMA, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and set to three tracks from the new album.”
