Khruangbin made their debut at The Capitol Theatre on Wednesday night, surprising fans gathered at the historic venue by performing their two studio LPs in their entirety.

The first set chronicled the band’s 2018 release Con Todo El Mundo, starting with “Cómo Me Quieres” and ending with “Friday Morning.”

From there, the band offered a 10-song encore, playing 2015’s The Universe Smiles Upon You front to back, sans the LP’s usual “The Universe Smiles Upon You (Continued)” outro.

Interestingly, Khruangbin weren’t the only band making history on Wednesday night at The Cap. Karina Rykman and her namesake band also played the Cap stage for the first time, opening with their new single “Plants” and offering covers like “Pets” by Porno for Pyros.
