Guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer opened his spring tour with a bang on Monday night, inviting surprise guests like Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge and P-Funk guitarist Eric McFadden.

The show featured a slew of original tunes by the 15-year-old including opening numbers “Revival,” “I Can’t Live” and “Where I Belong.”

The show also included a fair share of covers from the Beatles’ “Blackbird” to Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression” with McFadden and a closing “Yield Not To Temptation” featuring Burbridge, which paid tribute to their mutual mentor, the late Col. Bruce Hampton.

Taz is currently touring as a four-piece band, with guitarist Mat Godfrey, bassist Matt Fox, and drummer Kendall Lentz. For his upcoming tour dates visit Taz’s official website.
